This will be a free, 1-hour breathwork journey appropriate for any experience level with breath.  I'll be hosting more free online events for people to have access to my favorite modality of healing and bliss!

Breathwork is an incredibly powerful, body-based tool, with the potential to unlock transformational healing otherwise inaccessible with simple mindset work or band-aid medical approaches.  Breathwork is a complementary modality to other natural and Western practices to activate deeper places in the mind and body to help bring awareness to and process trauma, stories, and emotions stored in the body from current and past events.  It’s an effective tool that helps alleviate root causes of chronic ‘illnesses’ such as:

High blood pressure

Inflammation

Anxiety and depression

Stable physical injuries

Blood sugar regulation

Autoimmune disease

Sleep Disturbances

Respiratory dysfunctions

PTSD

Addiction

Appropriate hormonal regulation

Using a simple 3-part breath, we drop from a mind-led experience into deeper brainwave states, often into a meditative/trance state.  This state can become a new paradigm for processing simple stress and anxiety all the way to deep trauma the mind is not ready to process in waking states.

This is a very potent tool for processing trauma resistant to (and complimentary to) medications, therapy, and other traditional modalities, safely.

Kaitlyn is trauma-informed with a background in ICU nursing, and holds safe space and supportive follow-up for those needing assistance or with questions about the practice and what may arise.

All portions of the class are optional, and you are invited to listen to what the body is asking for, changing your mind and flow whenever you need to!

Some things to help you drop in powerfully:

Come with an open mind and open vibe.  There’s no way to pin down what may come up.  None of it is “bad/good” or “right/wrong”.  Each experience is exactly what it is meant to be for you EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Create your space.  You’ll want to make sure you have a quiet space where you will not be interrupted by sounds, kids, pets etc.  It works best for most people to use headphones for a more immersive experience.

You’ll need space to lie down.  Keep the head unsupported as much as possible.  A pillow under the knees can help with back issues and discomfort.  A blanket can also be helpful.  Some people get cold, some people get warm.

It can also help to have something to cover the eyes.  Use whatever touches you’d like to make it your perfect experience (oils, lights, candles, sage, etc.).

It’s helpful to have a glass of water and a journal/pen for after the breathwork.

It is completely normal to experience your session in many ways.  Common physical sensations include: tingling in the face, legs, and sometimes movement or “lobster claws” in the hands.  This is temporary and it does pass as you come back to natural breathing within just a few minutes.

A lot of people experience great release, sometimes sweating or crying.  It’s totally normal, safe, and helpful to whatever you’re processing- breathe into it!

Before we meet, start to think of an intention you’d like to bring to the session.  This helps you focus and tune into what you need from your breath.  Sometimes you will be surprised what comes up!

If you’re feeling resistant or nervous, that means you’re ready!  It’s normal to feel uneasy leading up to your session or feel like talking yourself out of it.  Lean in, and let your breath do the work!
